Cash-Only Food Drive
Winter 2026
The Women’s Club of Madison is holding a “Cash Only Food Drive” to collect donations for the Pauline Baldwin Food Pantry in Madison. Funds raised will be donated to help the purchase meats and other essential items for their freezer, which need to be replenished after the holidays.

Annual “Letters to Santa” Project
Now until Dec. 16, 2025
Santa Claus is coming to town! Santa Claus has put out his special red mailboxes to collect your letters! They are located at RJ Julia Booksellers and Stop and Shop, both in downtown Madison. The last day to mail your letter to Santa is Tuesday, December 16, 2025. Santa wants to hear from the children of Madison and surrounding towns.
Please write Santa Claus a letter and tell him what you would like him to pack in his sack for you for Christmas. After you’ve written your letter, put it in an envelope, ALONG WITH A SELF-ADDRESSED STAMPED ENVELOPE. Place your envelope in one of the red mailboxes at Madison Stop and Shop or RJ Julia Booksellers. Santa needs the self-addressed stamped envelope in order for him and the elves to write back to you!
The Women’s Club of Madison is again honored to deliver the letters to Santa Claus in the North Pole.
Annual Coat Drive 2025

Throughout the month of October
Throughout the month of October, we will be collecting gently used coats for men, women and children. Coats will be donated to BHcare, a nonprofit organization serving communities along the shoreline and Greater New Haven areas. They will distribute the coats to those in need, including those experiencing domestic violence, homelessness and those in need of services for mental health and/or addiction. Last year, we collected more than 200 coats to donate.
Coats can be dropped off in our collection box at Stop and Shop in Madison. We are grateful to the managers at Stop and Shop for their ongoing support.
Fall Into Fashion

Fashions from Ciao Bella, Country Shop of Madison, The Dressing Room, Homeward Collective, and Junk-2-Junque. Signature cocktails, wine and lite bites.
This event supports The Women’s Club of Madison charities that benefit residents of our shoreline communities. Together, we can create a brighter, more compassionate world for all.
Carousel Fundraising Event
Monday, July 7, 2025; 12:30 – 7 pm
Lenny and Joe’s Fish Tale, 1301 Boston Post Road, Madison
Come visit us at Lenny and Joe’s where all proceeds from carousel rides will be donated to our club, to benefit our scholarship fund.
Annual Tag Sale at Madison Lion’s Club Flea Market
Saturday, June 7, 2025; 9 am – 3 pm
Madison Town Green
Please consider donating your gently used items for the sale. Some items to consider: housewares, furniture, garden tools, vintage items, toys, jewelry, glassware, dishes, books, games, bikes, sports equipment. We are looking for anything you think may sell!
To donate items, please bring them to the green the day of the sale between 6:15 and 7:30 am. Our spot will be on Meeting House Lane.

Military Whist Game Night
Friday, April 11, 2025
First Congregational Church of Madison, 26 Meeting House Lane, Madison, CT
Doors open at 5:30pm, Game starts at 6:30pm
Join us for a fun night! Whist is an easy game to follow even if you’ve never played before! We’ll have a variety of light snacks, water and coffee at 5:30 pm. There will be prizes for top players and raffle tickets sold at the event.
